The latest TV Ratings for the Bachelor are out and last Monday must have been that what Chris Harrison was talking about when he said. “This season is a Homerun”. As I suspected the Bachelor hit gold with ratings…at least for a minute that is! However, if last episode of the Bachelor was that refreshing return to the rather innocent Bachelor TV show roots you were hoping for; the romantic travel, the picnics in the rain, and all that comes along with that, then I am here to tell you that season 16 episode 5 of the Bachelor this coming monday is NOTHING like it!

In Belize Courtney and Ben get straight RAUNCHY, proving that if nothing more that ABC knows how to pull in viewers and that this is in fact not reality, it is Reality TV!

Bachelorette Blog, if  you didn’t know, was the first online bachelor blog to share the unedited photos of Ben and Courtney Robertson both with their bare ass hanging out for all to see, (online at www.BachelorMansion.com) , and how, many may ask are we so sure that so many will be tuning in for this coming Monday nights episode of the Bachelor?! Well it’s pretty simple actually….

According to our weekly google analytics report, which of course we go over every few days just to see what most fans are interested in and it turns out that about 60k of you searched the terms in advance, the first three weeks of the season.

Your searches actually reveal that you also got pretty creative in mass and that the terms tens of thousands of you searched for, was for an eyeful!  BUSTED!!!

Accordingly, ‘Bens Butt’ and ‘Bachelor Bens Butt’ are bound to be water cooler talk this Monday and ABC is cashing in! CH-CHING!

If you are a regular reader on the Bachelorette Blog then you’ll know I love to weigh in with what I find to be ridiculous; usually the contestants but often the offscreen nonsense I see or hear or read about as well. Also many of you like to watch the Bachelor online and weekly are doing searches for the Bachelor Episodes online. Well as you often see there is usually a bunch of deadends and Blinkxtv was up until last week about the only reliable source to catch the last episode if you lived outside of the US or the episode was not available on HULU. Well bad news, ever since SOPAcame about and the big bust last week of Megaupload it now appears that the first source I listed is no longer allowing those uploads, so if you miss the show get ready to pay!

Also anybody else that thinks Ben did not choose Courtney or that doesn’t buy the whole, ‘Bachelor Ben and Courtney are engaged’ nonsense, should also read my last few posts as I agree with you. (find them all listed along the right side column, over 50 for this season so far)

Also, once this season comes to a close besides focusing on the Bachelor Canada and the lead-up to the Bachelorette with Emily Maynard we are digging into Survivor One World and the spoilers as far as backgrounds on American Idol 2012 top 24. Both are always alot of fun and keep my DVR busy.

I also just briefly wanted to touch on something somewhat funny that perhaps some off you can appreciate the humor in. Spelling and geography, you either got’em or ya don’t. So after enjoying a fairly recent major spike in readership, (long overdue I might add since I have been writing about this ridiculous show now for three years now) …anyway, while doing some research this week, just after being dumbfounded how many people searched for Bachelor Bens booty (Which I might add is a bit funny in and of itself) Also though discovered that half of Batchelor nation can’t spell. Sure occassionally out of pure laziness I will have a few spelling a punctuation errors here at the Bachelorette Blog. I am guilty of this for sure, since my blog is not a commercial outlet I admittedly get in a hurry and don’t always go back to fix the typos….. BUT my point below, just check this out! Are Nascar fans watching the Bachelor?

WTF? The Batchelor? I mean really the Batchelor??! ROFL...Bachelor is spelled Bachelor not Batchelor or Batchlor!

Holy smokes, like 20,000 people search for the batchelor every month when they are looking for the Bachelor. Oddly enough this happens month after month. I mean it just seems like by now most would have figured it out….but if you are one of the gifted few searching the term, “The Batchelor” just please stop. The show is called the Bachelor….not the Batchelor. Along the same lines, this one is equally ridiculous! 20,000 Bachelor Fans each month actually search the term, “Who got voted off the Bachelor?”

So in review, it’s not the Batchlor it’s the Bachelor and there is no Island. NO ISLAND….sorry! However, if there was an Island I have to say this show would be even more fun. I mean since this season of the Survivor has gone away with Redemption Island I would like to propose that we Bachelor Nation fans steal it from CBS and implement it on the Bachelor. I mean hell we could even turn it into a landscape show on a island, since HGTV is cannibalizing our ex-bachelors like Chris Lambton in order to prop up their own ratings, so why can’t we do the same. Can you imagine how much fun it might be to see contestants have to make pleas to the Bachelor each week via video, as to why they should be let back in the competition?

Jenna from week one would be the best! We could watch her say something utterly ridiclous and then mutter a few words in retreat about total communication failure then retreat to under a pineapple tree. It would be great.

We could even come up with endurance challenges…oh what FUN could be had…and all this we are missing out on without the NON-EXISTENT ISLAND THAT NOBODY GOT VOTED OFF OF!!? :-)

Just a quick update, some of you, (who actually have lives) may not be aware that Emily Maynard was confirmed as the next Bachelorette by Chris Harrison on Good Morning America yesterday.

So let the fun begin picking apart a new group of contestants and a recycled Bachelorette!

As I mentioned before, I think Emily Maynard seems like a bit of a sleepy personality for a reality tv show so I am really quite shocked to see both ABC cast her as well as her actually take the gig.

However, as a single mom who has  clearly been through alot and clearly sees an opportunity to get ahead I can’t blame her a bit! Although I hope she has  thick skin as being on this show really exposes you to alot of criticism.

Yes, it is this song and one other that he’ll be performing on tonights episode! This song  is titled, ‘She won’t be lonely long”. Let’s start with the eliminations….Ben eliminates Monica Spannbauer, Samantha Levey, (Who asks to be eliminated) and Elyse Myers leaving the other ten ladies to head off with him to Puerto Rico for episode 5!

Besides the catty distractions though this episode is really great for it focuses on the outdoors and gives us some great views of Park City, Utah. The yurt dinners, the fly fishing, the rock climbing all make for stellar viewing and Canyons Resort where Ben and the ladies are staying, just makes you itch for a getaway! For a great read on what this area has to offer read what area guide Mike Doyle has published on the area where the show was filmed, for tonights episode.

What really stands out though on tonights episode is the one-on-one date with Ben and Jennifer. Jennifer Fritsch is 28 years old and she is an accountant that lives in Oklahoma City, OK. She had an interesting thing to say when asked if she could be someone else for one day. Here is a photo of Ben and Jennifers dinner just before the concert. She and Ben repel down into a cave just before dinner and just after the concert, Jennifer will get a rose! All in all episode 4 is probably going to be the best yet, and so it goes…the show grows on ya and Ben is just alright!

Do you really believe that Ben chooses Courtney at the The Final Rose Ceremony?

Have you read our alternate ending hypothesis where Courtney may have actually rejected the final rose and it is still, quite possible that Ben actually chose someone else. If your an Emily Obrien fan though after tonight, you’ll be glad to know she’s confirmed to having been in at least Belize for filming which is after Puerto Rico and really nobody can prove for sure that she didn’t make a triumphant return at the Final Rose Ceremony! We shall see!

The Bachelor Canada is here!

Congratulations Bachelor Nation Fans in Canada, today the Canadian newspaper the star reported that the U.S. Based reality romance tv show will be offering a Canadian Installment of the show starting this fall, this according to an official announcement from show host Chris Harrison.

Bachelor Canada will air on Citytv this fall.

According to the reports, Rogers Media is said to already be in preproduction and so the the nine-episode The Bachelor Canada clearly has already chosen the first Bachelor Canada….but who is it? about all we know without any Bachelor Canada Spoilers having been found yet is that it is being produced by Vancouver-based Force Four Entertainment.

Surely fans of the U.S. Based Bachelor tv show fondly remember former bachelorette Jillian Harris, an interior designer who has also starred on on Extreme Makeover. As fas as other Canadian contestants familiar to most Bachelor Nation fans, there is also Jesse Sulidis a model from both the Bachelor and the Bachelor Pad as well as noted Bachelor Villain, Justin Rego who many will recall from the Bachelorette season with Ali Fedotowsky. Justin also came back to appear on the Bachelor Pad.

Who is the Bachelor Canada?

So let the hunt begin for Bachelor Canada Spoilers. Everyone is excited to see who the season one contestants will be and of course the big question remains. Who is the Bachelor Canada Season 1? Do you think Bachelor Canada will be a success?

Personally, I think most fans would rather forget about Brads season inlcuding the sleepy contestants. I personally preferred Chantal!

The million dollar, or rather $30k question seems to be who is going to be the season 8 Bachelorette….Is Emily Maynard from Brads season really the next bachelorette?  ( We say $ 30,000 since that is about what the Bachelorette Ashley Hebert  earned last season)

Committed fans would know that ABC had Ames Brown pegged for this season before the viewers fell out of love with him. Likewise ABC producers also had Chris Lambton pegged for the Bachelor instead of Brad Womack part #2. However, that too was not in the stars! I mean does anyone really think Jake Pavelka was there first choice? Are you catching on yet? No?… okay, well then you should also know that Chantal Obrien was supposed to take the spot over Ashley Hebert just last season.

You see, the casting of the Bachelorette is basically a cross between a chinese fire drill and a cake walk, everyone runs around in circle until it is handed to them; that my friends is when we will know who the Bachelorette is for sure. Frankly, all the ‘sources’ without true ‘sources’….tell us ZILCH. Emily Maynard  is not the Bachelorette until ABC’s fat guy sings; Mike Fleiss.

Did Bachelor Producers really choose Emily Maynard as the next Bachelorette?

The best sourceless ’source’ so far  was clearly People Magazine. www.People.com (there is a follow-up they are running today as well. To really get a gauge on the reception Emily is getting, is well, frankly very easy and obvious it is also REALLY BAD

Just take a gander  at the comments section on People Magazine article about Emily being supposedly cast….( http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20563076,00.html ) OUCH!

Alot of fans seems quite uninterested in seeing this past contestant back as the bachelorette and really want someone new or more of a fan favorite….and to top it off it seems that Bachelorette Season 8 spoilers, including the possible location of the filming; the Bachelorette Mansion if you will may have been uncovered. (That is if this isn’t just another case of People Magazine trying to get a jump on Bachelor Nation news…as they have become notorious for this last year.)

Speculation has it that this is the Bachelorette Season 8 Mansion where Emily Maynard will pick from her 25 guys. I still don't think she will even be chose to tbe the next bachelorette....but that's just me. We shall see!

…and surely the Emily Maynard filming locations spoilers will be followed by the guys names that she will select from within a month or so…at the most. At that juncture we may actually be able to spoil the next Bachelor before Emily has made her final rose ceremony selection thereby interupting the space-time continuum; FREAKY HUH!

Guess what, we secretly know what happens on Bachelorette season 124, she send home all the men on episode one and parties with her super robot.

Is it just me or is a surprise WAY overdue!?

If Bachelor Ben picks Courtney as spoilers go that Reality TV Blogger, Reality Steve put out, then I really worry with this new casting news that this flagship Reality Romance show may really suffer with it’s ratings next season, escpecially after a certain-to-be short lived courthship, even if one occurs at all between Courtney Robertson and Ben Flajnik.  A major ratings fall could deal a big blow to what is a household name program. We shall see but I still steadfastly believe that there  is something of a suprise in store for fans in coming months.

  You only bluff to increase the pot.

What a way to get publicity!!!! Kasey and his friends were out and having a  great time in Fresno, California. So much so, that he was arrested for drunk and  disorderly conduct. Last night, on the national news, his mug shot was shown and  it was described as,

The Prettiest Mug Shot The Precinct Ever Had.”

Thankfully, he was released and somehow there were no charges filed.  And, in case you did not know yet Kasey Kahl and Vienna Girardi broke up many months ago.

Well Evidently Jesse decided to personally weigh in our blog publicly, right here at the Bachelorette Blog, via his facebook page. Probably just good traffic source for his sleepy reality tv blog but let’s take a moment to respond …shall we?

Anyway, before I do here is the post that evidently has lit a fuse under Jesse Csincsak’s ass. . We basically posted our opinion that his bachelor / reality tv blog kinda blows…..well, since it basically does. (Sorry Jesse but I like most I like to read stuff that is more than two paragraphs in length and that doesn’t look like it was painful to produce.)

Now again, as my post alluded to, and I would restate, an intent to file a lawsuit is just that….an intent. My grandmother had this old analogy she used to use. I believe she used to say people like this are frankly, “All Bark and No Bite”. As I also said in that post, for fellow fans of the show, is that the ‘slow bachelor news day’ post about Jesse’s threat to sue the show was was unconsequential. Almost as unconsequential as this post!

I am not quitting my day job to be a reality tv blogger Jesse, nor should you and if Mike Fleiss wants to, he can call my mom for all I care and ask her to not work with me. She probably won’t listen to him but my point is, is that really anything to get all worked up about? I mean really?! I am not gonna lose any sleep or start shooting press release out to gossip rags to blast the show over it …. you shouldn’t either. I think when someone, a TV Show, a Network, a Producer, or even an employer for that matter that goes out on a limb to give you a opportunity of a lifetime, that after the fact you don’t go back and spit on them. Apparently now that your cow ran out of milk…..your angry with the cow. My advice; move onto your next opportunity!

I like hundreds of thousands of others are TRUE fans of the show, the producer, and team that puts the show together. Sure, most do like digging for spoilers on the ending, but in reality we REALLY prefer when the show does a good job and keeps the end a secret. The fun is in the hunt Jesse. At the end of the day, what really makes the Bachelor TV so great is the mere fact that it provides us a great escape from reality. In normal peoples lives, it’s an escape, a much needed escape in this somtimes chaotic world that we live in. As a matter of fact I have been blogging this wonderfully fun show for three years now as I enjoy sharing my opinions about the wild ride the show takes us on each season….something I don’t plan on changing. Finally, just let me add this….

Jesse, I liked your character on the show and I am sure you are a great guy but I just don’t care for your blog and it annoyed me and I am sure a few others to read that one of the contestants was out there bashing the show, on the back of the show. As far as Reality Smackdown blog goes, I am sorry if my critique was overly harsh and if it’s any consolation it’s not just your blog that sucks either, most of the other former male contestants can’t blog for shit either, with the exception to Chris Harrison. On the other hand, Ali and Ashley write great blogs…..just my opinion. Also, I gotta tell you I probably wouldn’t have said anything negative unless you blasted the show that made you a household name. Ya think?

You can disagree if you like with my opinions or not, that is your perogative but what annoys the shit out of me is a lack of gratitude! I hope you work out your misunderstanding with the showand best wishes in the future with your projects!

….or perhaps less likely, does this season actually conclude with Lindzi approaching Ben before the final rose ceremony to break thinks off, then leaving Ben with just Courtney Robertson whom he had actually left there just for the producers? This would suggest that in an effort to save face, if you will he proposes and then they break things off the following day? After all, nobody wants to go on the show anymore and not propose…that’s Brad Womack medicine.

This is merely Spoiler Speculation (FOR NOW) but the talk around the watercooler (Bachelor forums and discussions boards) is people seem to think something is brewing and it’s not your normal coffee….it’s Bachelor Brew!! Two teaspoons of Mike Fleiss and lots of Sugar…Mike likes to Suprise ya!

We don’t think he proposes at all at least not genuinely or if he does it’s surely out of pressure, in such a case then logic points still to Courtney. However, the truth is that either  Courtney Robertson or Lindzi Cox may have actually pulled a Brad Womack and not accepted the rose…and nobody would know!

This would then lead to a season that would have duped everyone! Chances are, in such a case there was no real connection made this season and the whole thing would have then been staged for a last minute way to leave Ben looking like a great guy and continue the villain story line of Courtney which she of course is getting edited to be.
